7 arrested in drug den raid in Cebu City

CEBU CITY â€“ The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested seven persons in a drug den raid in Barangay Labangon here on Monday afternoon, April 8.

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas (PDEA-7) and the Cebu City Police Station 10 arrested the alleged maintainer of the drug den identified as Ray Luna, 43, and suspected patrons Jestoni Pineda, 34; Angelo A. Vallecera, 31; Rogelio Nisas, 35; John Cabido, 26; Rowel Alquizar, 40, and Janel Quijano, 23.

Seized during the operation were four packs of suspected shabu weighing around 12 grams with an estimated market value of P81,600, said PDEA-7 information officer Leia Alcantara.

Charges for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, and 12, Article II, of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehension Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects, said Alcantara.
