5 PRO-13 staff feted with PNP Medalya ng Kasanayan


CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Four police officers and one Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) were awarded the Philippine National Police Medalya ng Kasanayan (Efficiency Medal)  during a ceremony in this camp on Monday, April 8.

Police Lt. Col. Junyd D. Marohom and Staff Sgt. Rona F. Urtola were feted for their efficiency, dedication, and devotion to duty after the Bislig City Component Police Station in Surigao del Sur emerged as the first city police station in the country that successfully completed the accounting of police and National Police Commission pensioners for the fourth quarter of calendar year 2023.

Police Capt. Rhobie R. Menoza and NUP Janneth P. Impuesto were recognized after Libjo Municipal Police Station (MPS) became the first municipal police station nationwide that successfully completed the accounting of pensioners for the same period.

Police Chief Master Sgt. Jane C. Laro was cited for being one of the personnel of the PNP-Retirement and Benefits Unit (PRBU)-13 that earned the distinction as the first PRBU nationwide that successfully completed the same task.

Police Regional Office-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft and Mary Christine Anthonette M. Salise-Punzalan, associate prosecutor of the Office of the City Prosecutor, Butuan City, awarded the recipients. Punzalan was the guest of honor of the event.

“They (awardees) were given this recognition for their exemplary performance and contribution in the service of the Filipino people,” Kraft said.  “May this feat inspire every PNP personnel to do more in service of the people."
