ILOILO CITY – Police seized suspected shabu worth more than P1 million in a buy-bust operation in Guimbal, Iloilo on Saturday, April 6.

Three suspected drug pushers – Kirk, George, and Ryan – were arrested by joint operatives of the Iloilo Provincial Police Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (IPPO-PDEU) and Guimbal Municipal Police Station.
The 34-year-old Kirk was considered a high-value individual in the illegal drugs trade.
They were apprehended after they sold shabu to a police poseur-buyer valued at P20,000.
Seized from them were a total of 150 grams of shabu.
Police Regional Office-6 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky and Iloilo police director Police Col. Ronaldo Palomo cited operating units for their achievement.
“Let us be more committed and dedicated to achieving a drug-free Western Visayas, together in unity the end of this drug peddlers will come to an end," said Wanky on Sunday, April 7.
