In PAGASA’s 4 a.m. public forecast, weather specialist Rhea Torres said the easterlies remain the dominant weather system in the country.

Torres also noted that although cloud clusters were monitored, isolated rains will only be felt at noon, as generally fair weather will prevail in the afternoon.

Most likely, the occurrence of rains will not take long, or it will not occur all day in areas in Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan),” Torres said.

Also expect hot and humid weather with chances of isolated rains, as we are not expecting any weather system that may cause rains throughout the day in any parts of the country in the following days),” she added.

Over the next 24 hours, Metro Manila and the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be felt due to the easterlies.

PAGASA said flash floods or landslides may occur in the affected areas during severe thunderstorms.
