Woman found murdered in Makati radiator shop

A 27-year-old woman was found dead inside a radiator shop on Evangelista Street in Barangay Bangkal, Makati City on Saturday, April 6, the Makati City Police said.

According to the initial police report, the owner of the radiator shop discovered the body of the woman, who was identified as a worker of a restobar, inside the room of one of his employees at around 7 a.m.

Upon arrival of the police, they found the victim's body with an electrical cord wrapped around the neck that bore a puncture wound from an ice pick.

Authorities said the body of the woman will undergo an autopsy to determine if she was also raped by the 30-year-old suspect who is a native of General Santos City.

Police withheld the identities of the victim and the suspect as a follow-up operation is ongoing.
