UdM announces online classes on April 8 due to extreme heat
The University de Manila (UdM) announced on Saturday, April 6, that all classes on Monday, April 8, will be online.

The UdM Supreme Student Government Official encouraged students to take the opportunity to stay at home while still prioritizing their studies, especially during this time when the heat index is increasing.
UdM said that the advisory is in accordance with the recommendation of university president Ma. Felma Carlos-Tria.
During the online class, UdM advised all students to regularly check their emails and online platforms for updates and course materials.
The face-to-face classes will resume on Thursday, April 11, following the two regular holidays on April 9 and 10, UdM said.
April 9, Day of Valor, and April 10, the Feast of Ramadan, are both regular holidays.
