No less than President Marcos sent a personal greeting to Surigao del Sur 2nd district Rep. Johnny Pimentel during his 68th birthday last March 29.
It's only natural then that Pimentel flexed Marcos' letter-slash-birthday greeting on social media.
Marcos began his letter by telling Pimentel, "It is with great pleasure that I extend my warmest greetings as you celebrate another year of life and wisdom."
According to the Chief Executive, birthdays are not only an occasion to commemorate the day you were born "but also an opportunity to reflect on the milestones you have achieved and the dreams you aspire to fulfill".
“In the spirit of unity and camaraderie, let us continue to work together towards a brighter and more prosperous future for our nation. Your unwavering support and dedication to our shared goals are invaluable, and I am grateful for your partnership in building a better Philippines for all," Marcos further said.
Pimentel, a former House deputy speaker,is a member of the National Unity Party (NUP).
