Get ready for a musical treat this April as Yza Santos, a talented young singer, is all set to release her debut single. Ladine Roxas, the Voice of Asia Grand Champion and Voice Coach of Vehnee Saturno Music Center, made the announcement during her recent single launch at Music Box Timog, Quezon City.

A 16-year-old with a unique blend of cultural influences, Yza hails from both Manila, Philippines, and Melbourne, Australia. Her diverse interests span from badminton and volleyball to drawing and academic subjects like math, physics, and biology.

Yza expressed her desire to pursue a career in civil and structural engineering despite being young. Her grandmother's singing talent inspired her passion for music from a young age.

While being surrounded by music, Yza fondly remembers singing and drawing simultaneously. This activity has been a source of focus and enjoyment for her. Vehnee, a renowned songwriter, has created two original songs for Yza.

These songs, namely "Misteryo" in Tagalog and "No Words," will be released this month across various digital platforms. In addition, Yza will also be performing at mall shows, making TV appearances, and featuring on radio shows.

Yza's ancestors include Lopez K. Santos, the "Father of Balarila" or "Father of Filipino Grammar," and actor Bert Silva, establishing a rich legacy in both entertainment and linguistics.
