Man drowns on Agno River in Pangasinan

ALCALA, Pangasinan – A man drowned on the Agno River in Barangay Laoac here on Thursday night, April 4.

The Bureau of Fire Protection here received a report that an unidentified man was drowning on the Agno River.

BFP-Alcala Fire Officer 1 Renz Martinez, residents Erick Catalan, Leomar de Guzman, Raymark Makabuhay, and Joshua Viñegas, and police responded.

They attempted to rescued him failed due to the strong water current.

The victim was retrieved by rescuers and was taken to the Bayambang District Hospital where he was declared dead.
