BUTUAN CITY – Police arrested five suspected drug pushers in buy-bust operations in Agusan del Sur and Surigao City on Wednesday, April 3.

Police Regional Office-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft said four suspects were arrested in Rosario, Agusan del Sur.
The suspects who yielded suspected shabu worth P40,800 were identified as Jam, Anton, 45; PJ, 33, and Hom, 38.
Butch, 39, was caught in Surigao City and seized from him was seven grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price value of P47,600.
Police Regional Office 13-Regional Public Information Office chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer said these operations were witnessed by representatives from the Department of Justice (DOJ), media, and the barangay council.
Suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Kraft vowed to step up the campaign against illegal drugs and make Caraga a drug-free region. “We continue our fight against all forms of criminality particularly against illegal drugs.”
