PSE hosting Q1 briefings for 11 listed firms

The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) is opening the 2024 edition of PSE STAR Investor Day with the first quarter briefing of 11 publicly listed companies slated on May 15 and 16.

In a statement, the bourse said the PLCs will tackle their financial performance for the first three months of the year as well as their strategic initiatives and growth prospects.

The virtual briefing, which is free of charge, is open to fund managers, equity analysts, existing and potential investors.

“PSE STAR is embarking on its third year thanks to the stakeholders who have supported our investor briefings in the last two years. We hope that this valuable endeavor will continue to be beneficial for PLCs and investors alike,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon.

PLCs taking part in the live investor briefing include Alliance Global Group, Inc., Alternergy Holdings Corporation, Ayala Corporation, Bank of Commerce, Citicore Energy REIT Corp., Haus Talk, Inc., Manila Water Company, Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures, Inc., Shell Pilipinas Corporation, SM Prime Holdings, Inc., and The Keepers Holdings, Inc.

After each presentation, executives of the PLCs will be answering questions sent by the audience.

“PSE STAR has only featured a fifth of all listed firms since its inception in 2022. We hope to encourage more PLCs to take part in this program in succeeding editions this year,” Monzon added.

Other highlights of the two-day virtual event are the economic and sector outlook segments of Bloomberg analysts and recorded briefings of select PLCs that participated in PSE STAR the last two years.

PSE STAR is co-hosted by Bloomberg LP, with the Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP) and the Trust Officers Association of the Philippines (TOAP) as partners.
