Parañaque City Mayor Olivarez adopts modified working hours

The Parañaque City government shall implement the modified working schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting May 2 until October 31, 2024.

Mayor Eric Olivarez said the  Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) through Resolution No. 24-08, modified the working schedule to address the prevailing traffic situation in Metro Manila and prevent road congestion during peak hours.

He said 20 offices providing vital services on health, disaster, and calamities including departments and offices which cater to paying clientele shall continue their services and operations until 5:00 p.m.

The offices that shall continue their services and operations until 5:00 p.m. are the Traffic Management Office;  Special Operations and Communication Office; Health Emergency and Management Service (HEMS) operation duty; Ospital ng Parañaque 1 and 2; Parañaque Security Services Division frontline security personnel; Health Centers; City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) street sweepers; City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) frontliners and  Human Resources and Management Office payroll masters and receiving clerks.

Olivarez identified the other offices that shall render services until 5:00 p.m. as the Business Permit and Licensing Office, Health Office, Parking Traffic and Management Office, Police Clearance Section, Local Civil Registry, Assessor’s Office, Treasury, Planning, Tricycle Regulator Office, and the Building Office.
