The local government retrofitted the two trucks with four shower enclosures and toilets, handwash basins, and a folding clothes rack.
The "shower tour" will be brought daily to the barangays and will cater to Valenzuelanos affected by the water shortage.

“Ito pong dalawang mobile shower ay papaikutin po natin sa atin pong komunidad, at uumpisahan natin yan dito sa [Barangay] Parada. Libreng shower po ‘yan, libreng toilet… ito po ay iikot dahil po may mga komunidad tayo na medyo may kaunting power interruption, at hindi po sila makaligo dahil walang kuryente sa kanilang bahay (We will deploy these two mobile showers to our communities, and we will start it here in Barangay Parada. The trucks will offer free showers, a free toilet. These trucks will go around communities that are suffering from power interruption and where residents can't take a shower because there's no electricity in their house),” Mayor Wes Gatchalian said.
“Kaya po sa pamamagitan po ng mobile shower natin, araw-araw [ay] papaikutin po natin… para po maiwasan natin ang sakit na mula sa heat wave na nararanasan natin ngayon (That's why our mobile shower trucks will be deployed daily so that we can avoid the adverse effects of the heat wave),” he added.
Four barangay motorcycles were also turned over to Barangay Parada to be used by the Barangay Police to ensure an orderly and safe community for the Valenzuelanos.

This is in line with the city’s peace and order initiatives and to establish a more livable city where people can walk at night without fear for their safety.
