BUTUAN CITY – The Police Regional Office-13 declared on Wednesday, April 3, that the Holy Week in the Caraga region was generally peaceful.

“Yes, the observance of Holy Week in our region is generally peaceful,” PRO 13-Regional Public Information Office chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer said.
Ometer attributed the peaceful observance of Holy Week to the strict implementation of police security operations.
PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft credited the peaceful Holy Week to maximum police visibility, round-the-clock patrolling, law enforcement operations, and the support of the public, force multipliers, and partner agencies in areas of public convergence.
The 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division also played a key role in maintaining peace and order, particularly in upland areas.
“Caraga cops honor the sanctity of this occasion by safeguarding the devotees and ensuring the people of the peaceful and safe observance of the Holy Week,” Kraft added.
Kraft reminded the people to always observe traffic rules and speed limits to prevent vehicular accidents.
