Gov. Fernando: Online classes now being implemented in public, private schools in Bulacan

Governor Daniel R. Fernando issued Memorandum number 94032024-148 for all mayors in the cities and municipalities in the province of Bulacan to implement online classes in all public and private schools from April 4 to 6.
Fernando said he issued the directive due to the high heat index being experienced in Bulacan and other parts of the country. Bulacan was forecasted to experience temperatures ranging from 39 to 41 degrees Celsius in the next few days.
To ensure the safety and protect the health of Bulakenyo students and based on the recommendation of the Provincial Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), ordered the implementation of online classes at all levels in public and private schools provincewide for three days.
Fernando said he would issue a new directive regarding the learning modality to be implemented based on the result of the heat index analysis to be conducted by the PDRRMO.
Bulacan mayors are also requested, through their Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices, to continue monitoring the situation in their areas of jurisdiction and send the report to the PDRRMO as soon as possible.
Fernando strongly advised Bulakenyos to be always on the alert and and to seek help from the Bulacan government.
