Some Metro Manila universities to shift to online classes amid extreme heat
Several Metro Manila universities are suspending on-site classes and switching to online learning amid the high heat index forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

As PAGASA warned of high heat index until mid-May, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) has announced that online classes will continue until May 15.
De La Salle University (DLSU) also announced that classes will be held online from May 2 to 8.
“Classes on May 9 to 15 will also be held online except for STEM laboratory and water sports classes,” DLSU added.
Meanwhile, Mapua University and Colegio de San Juan de Letran will continue their synchronous online classes on Tuesday, April 30.
