President Marcos has handed over P100,000 financial assistance to seven soldiers in Maguindanao who were wounded while performing their duty.

Marcos distributed the cash checks when he visited the wounded-in-action (WIA) soldiers during his visit in Maguindanao del Norte on Monday, April 29.
The recipients of the cash assistance were wounded during the recent operations against the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) in Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur on April 22.
They are 2nd Lieutenant Knigle Bastian, Sergeant Oliver Lanestosa, Private First Class Gerald Alawin, Private First Class Michael Composo, Private Jay-R Alocada, Private First Class Jereco Watil, and Staff Sergeant Rold Romualdo.
They are currently admitted in the Battle Casualty Ward at Camp Brigadier General Gonzalo H. Siongco in Barangay Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.
