Minor drowns in Negros Occidental

BACOLOD CITY – A 10-year-old boy drowned in the sea of Purok Maaswa, Barangay General Luna, Toboso, Negros Occidental on Saturday, April 27.

Police Major Jun Ray Batadlan, Toboso police chief, said the victim, a Grade 4 pupil, was last seen by his parents around 11 a.m. that day. The victim left their house after lunch without asking permission from his parents and went swimming alone. 

His parents found him missing and searched for him. He was then found floating near the shoreline around 4 p.m.
