Mayor Honey asks city workers to handle with care equipment inside Manila City Hall

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan called on city officials and employees to take good care of the city's properties and equipment.
Lacuna-Pangan stressed that all of the properties inside every office of the Manila City Hall are bought by the collected fund from the taxpayers.
The mayor urged all offices within the city to help the office of the City General Services Office (CGSO) headed by Thelma Perez in conducting regular inventory of all equipment and office properties assigned to them.
"Kung me gagalawin or ililipat ng puwesto or lugar, sana ipagbigay-alam agad sa tanggapan namin para agad naming ma-update sa database para ang reporting sa Commission in Audit ay maging akma (If something will be moved or transferred to a position or place, I hope you inform our office immediately so that we can immediately update the database for reporting to the Commission in Audit)," Perez said.
The mayor said that property officers and chief admin officers of each department are expected to assist in the inventory of equipment assigned to the office where they belong.
Perez advised all city departments and offices to keep property ledger cards or inventory supplies card that they can present when COA conducts a random check.
The local chief executive urged all assigned officers to keep a record of their inventories in coordination with the office of Perez for proper guidance.
