P8.7-M shabu seized in Western Visayas

ILOILO CITY – Police seized 1.2 kilos of suspected shabu valued at P8.7 million in Western Visayas from April 20 to 26.

The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 said 42 suspected drug pushers were arrested.

PRO-6 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky congratulated operating units for their achievements.

“I truly appreciate your commitment and sacrifices in performing your job well, and I urge you to maintain that energy towards your work and in our quest for a drug-free region,” said Wanky

The Regional Police Drug Enforcement (RPDEU) caught 565 grams, including 390 grams from two suspects in Iloilo City last April 23.

The Iloilo Police Provincial Office confiscated 293 grams, Iloilo City Police Office, 219 grams; Bacolod City Police Office, 138 grams; Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, 24 grams; Antique Police Provincial Office, 20 grams; Guimaras Police Provincial Office, 20 grams, and Capiz Police Provincial Office, 13 grams.
