Bulacan drug buy-bust nets 7 suspects, seizes P68K shabu

Seven drug suspects were arrested, while P68,000 worth of suspected shabu were seized inside a makeshift drug den following an entrapment operation in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, Barangay Minuyan Proper on Saturday afternoon, April, 27.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan identified the arrested suspects as Ian Pacheco Praasas, 19; Joseph Alcala Palania, 45; Mark Anthony Guyangco Abucot, 25; Benjie Paige Ala, 45; Allan Franco Beatima, 44; Jover Canales Geraldo, 36; and Ricky Guyangco Velarde, 51.

PDEA Bulacan said the operation was launched following a tip about the rampant drug use and peddling in the area.

The sting operation yielded a total of eight plastic sachets containing more or less 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000; assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

The operation was conducted by the joint elements of PDEA Bulacan and Aurora Police Provincial Offices, PDEA Region III, Bulacan PPO PDEU/PIU, and local police.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects.
