Senator Christopher "Bong Go" is looking forward to the full and faithful implementation of the policy on graphic health warnings (GHWs) on vape products or vapes.

The agency has already urged manufacturers, importers, distributors, and sellers to comply with the upcoming enforcement of GHWs on vaporized nicotine and non-nicotine products.

DOH said the effort under Administrative Order (DO) 2022-0047 will include the full implementation of GHW templates starting May 12.

Go said that as per the DOH, the GHWs, pursuant to Republic Act (RA) No. 10643 or the Graphics Health Warnings Law, are effective in lowering the number of tobacco users.

"We hope to achieve the same success among our vape users," he said.

Go, who chairs the Senate Committee on Health, said he will continue to support specific government measures that seek to protect people's health and lives and policies that will advance their welfare.

"Health is wealth, health is life, as is often said," he added.
