2 men arrested for possession of shabu, gun in Pasay City

Two men were arrested by Pasay City police for possession of illegal drug and firearm during the implementation of search warrants in their respective residences on Friday, April 26.

Pasay City police chief,Col. Mario Mayames identified the suspects as alias Don-Don,18, and alias Paduda, 26.

Mayames said Don-Don was arrested at around 3:00 p.m. at the corenr of Balikatana and Pitimini Streets, Barangay 181, Zone 18 Pasay City for illegal possession of firearm.

Armed with a search warrant issued by Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 115 Executive Judge Edilwasif Baddiri, members of the Station Intelligence Section (SIS) confiscated in Don-Don's house a .38-caliber Armscor 202 revolver without serial number.

Mayames said another suspect identified as Paduda was arrested by members of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) at around 10:30 p.m. in his house in Baranga 171, Zone 17, Pasay City.

He said the SDEU members served the search warrant issued by Judge Baddiri after receiving several complaints about the suspect's illegal drug activities.

Police recovered from the suspect three small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 15.1 grams of shabu worth P102,680.

The suspects were detained at the police custodial facility after their arrest and filing of charges against them.
