7 wanted persons nabbed in one day in Pasay City

Seven persons wanted for criminal cases were arrested by Pasay City police in separate operations on Friday, April 26.

Col. Mario Mayames, Pasay City police chief, identified the suspects as alias Leo, 45; alias Mirafe, 54; alias Esteban, 22; alias Joe, 31; alias Romnick, 35; alias Jason,18; and Jenifer,32.

Mayames said Leo was nabbed at around 11:45 a.m. on F.B. Harrison St. by virtue of a warrant of arrest for possession of illegal drugs, issued by Judge Edilwasif Tapsiril Baddiri of Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 115 on April 18, 2024, with a recommended bail of P200,000.

At around 1:30 p.m., Mirafe, who was wanted for estafa, was arrested on F.B. Harrison Street in Barangay 72, based a warrant issued by Judge Jose Janello A. Covarrubias of Pasay City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 47 on March 14, 2024, with a bail of P36,000.

Estaban, who was the subject of a bench warrant for illegal drug possession issued by Judge  Baddiri on April 23, 2024, was apprehended at around 2:00 p.m. on Tramo St. in Barangay 45, Pasay City.

 A bail of 200,000 was recommended for his temporary liberty.

The city police chief said Joe, who was charged with robbery, was arrested at around 7:30 p.m. on Tramo St. in Barangay 100 by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Pedro De Leon Gutierrez of Pasay RTC Branch 119 on May 6 ,2015, with P100,000 recommended bail. 

Mayames said after 30 minutes, Romnick was collared at around 8:00 p.m. on Pasadena St., Pasay City. He was the subject of an arrest warrant for robbery issued by Judge Pedro De Leon Gutierrez of Pasay RTC Branch 119 on June 23, 2014, with bail recommended of P100,000. 

Another robbery suspect, Jason, was arrested at around 11:00 p.m. on Valerio St. in Barangay 132, Pasay City on the strength of a warrant issued on April 3, 2024 by Judge Giovanni Esguerra Vidal of Makati City Regional Trial Court Branch 236, with a bail of P100,000.00.

At around 11:20 p.m., Jennifer who was charged with qualified theft, was apprehended on F.B. Harrison St. on order of by Judge Elmer Joseph Guerzon, of Pasay RTC Branch 114, Pasay City, with a recommended bail of P120,000.

The suspects were detained at the police custodial facility after their arrest.
