Student answering modules killed in Talisay City

CEBU CITY – A 14-year-old girl was fatally shot while she was answering her modules inside their house in Barangay Cansojong, Talisay City, Cebu.

The incident happened past 9 a.m. on Friday, April 26.

Police said the victim, Jacquilene Reponte, was answering her modules when the gunman barged in.

Without a word, the intruder shot the victim in the face.

The assailant fled after the attack. The victim was rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead.

Police are still investigating the motive of the crime.

It was learned that the victim's family is just renting the house on V. H. Garces St. in Barangay Cansojong.
