GOT7's Mark Tuan postpones tours in Europe, Latin America due to health reasons

K-pop boy band GOT7’s Mark Tuan has postponed his concert tours in Europe and Latin America due to poor health. 

DNA Records announced on April 26 that the tours have been postponed based on the advice of medical professionals.

“Following a recent medical evaluation, it has become clear that Mark faces concerns that necessitate avoiding the physical demands of touring during this period. While coming to this decision has been immensely difficult, Mark's health and well-being is our utmost priority,” the label said. 

Here is the full text of the announcement: 

“We regret to inform you that the European and Latin America 2024 tours are postponed following the guidance of medical professionals.

“Following a recent medical evaluation, it has become clear that Mark faces concerns that necessitate avoiding the physical demands of touring during this period. While coming to this decision has been immensely difficult, Mark's health and well-being is our utmost priority.

“The Latin America tour has been rescheduled to the following dates:

- Santiago: 9th July 2024; Tuesday

- São Paulo: 11th July 2024; Thursday

- Mexico City: 13th July 2024; Saturday

“We are still working on the European stops and an announcement will be made when details are finalized.

“We are aware of how excited the fans have been for these tours, and we are incredibly sorry that it will not work out the way we intended it to. However, Mark remains committed to performing in Europe and Latin America. During this time, he will focus on creating new music in order to deliver fresh and exciting performances to his fans when he returns.

“For those holding show tickets, please wait for further instructions regarding the tickets. Fans will have the option to hold on to their tickets or get a refund; the relevant information will be made available on the ticketing site in the next few days.

“For VVIP and VIP packages, fans may hold on to it for the rescheduled shows or request for a refund by emailing [email protected] with the show date and city in the subject line.

“We extend our sincere gratitude to all the fans for their support and understanding during this time.”
