Foreign diver drowns while diving in Batangas

MABINI, Batangas â€“ A 32-year-old foreign diver drowned during a technical diving activity in thesea of Barangay Solo here on Thursday morning, April 25.

Police identified the victim as Chinese Shunyan Li, single, a resident of Pasay City.

Investigation said that the victim, his two friends, and instructor were having a technical diving activity when he suffered oxygen toxicity and drowned.

His companions rescued him and he was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
