A fire gutted a house in Barangay Central Bicutan in Taguig Thursday night, according to authorities.
The Taguig City Fire Station said the fire started at about 7:25 p.m. on April 25 at Block 146, Lots 3 and 5 Contreras Street.

The single story house was occupied by two families. The first alarm was raised at 7:28 p.m. It was put under control at 7:59 p.m. before it was put out at 8:22 p.m.
No injuries or casualties were reported during the fire. The Taguig City Fire Station did not disclose the estimated amount of damage the fire caused.
This is yet another fire that happened in Taguig in the last few days.
Last April 23, a fire hit a residential area in Zone 3, Barangay Fort Bonifacio, destroying properties worth P1 million. The blaze affected 15 families or about 60 individuals.
“The BFP Taguig City Fire Station is increasing its efforts to remind the public about the importance of prioritizing fire safety measures. As fires continue to destroy properties and put lives at risk, the need for proactive fire prevention measures has become more urgent than ever before,” the Bureau of Fire Protection-Taguig posted on Facebook.
