6,680 pass April 2024 Civil Engineers Licensure Exam — PRC


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, April 26, said 6,680 out of 17,010 examinees, or 39.2 percent, passed the April 2024 Civil Engineers Licensure Exam (CELE).

Ryan Sylvester Sy Chan and Cedric Jerome Carlos Donguines, both from De La Salle University-Manila (DLSU-Manila), had the highest average score of 94.30 percent in the April 2024 CELE.

"The results of examination with respect to twenty examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations," PRC said.

The examination was held on April 20 and 21 in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Top performing school

Based on the Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058 series of 2017, DLSU-Manila is the top-performing school in the April 2024 CELE.

It had a passing percentage of 90.32 percent, where 84 out of examinees from the university passed the licensure exam.

Oathtaking

Successful examinees interested in participating in the face-to-face mass oath-taking must register no later than noon on the day preceding the scheduled oath-taking date. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.

For those unable to attend the mass oath-taking, the option to join the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking is available. The schedule will be posted on the official website once confirmed.

To schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph, choose "e-OATH" as the transaction.

Online registration will close five calendar days before the online oath-taking day.

Furthermore, inductees must print the "Oath of Professional" form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

After the oath-taking, inductees should proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
