2 drug pushers caught in Benguet buy-bust

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Two suspected drug pushers were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Lamtang here on April 24.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera identified the suspects as Rufino Sagada, the target of the operation, and his uncle, Juniver Balantan.

Recovered from the suspects, residents of Bakun, Benguet, were four kilos of dried marijuana leaves worth P48,000.

The suspects face drug-related charges. They are detained at the  PDEA-Cordillera office in Camp Bado Dangwa here.
