Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto together with Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski and Pasig City Rep. Roman Romulo visited the victims of the fire that hit a residential area at Jenny's Avenue, Barangay Rosario on April 22.

The officials check the situation of the fire victims at the Barangay Rosario evacuation centers on Tuesday, April 23, as the city government ramps up its efforts in providing them assistance.
"Ayon sa validation ng Pasig City Social Welfare and Development Office na siyang in-charge sa camp management sa nasabing evacuation center, nasa higit sa 120 pamilya at nasa higit 400 katao ang nananatili rito (Based on the validation of the Pasig City Social Welfare and Development Office which is in-charge of camp management in the evacuation center, over 120 families or more than 400 individuals are staying here)," the city government said.
"Matapos ang naging validation, ang mga sumailalim sa validation process ay nakatanggap ng food, non-food, kitchen supplies, at hygiene kits mula sa Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Pasig (After validation, participants were given food, non-food, kitchen supplies, and hygiene kits from the city government)," it added.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire incident started at 4:30 a.m. and reached the 2nd alarm at 4:41 a.m. The 3rd alarm was raised at 5:04 a.m.
Firefighters declared fire out at 6:08 a.m.
Arson investigators are still investigating the cause of the fire and the amount of damage to property.
