K-pop boy band 82Major to come back with first mini-album ‘Beat by 82’


K-pop boy band 82Major will be coming back by releasing their first mini-album “Beat by 82” on April 29. 

82Major debuted on Oct. 11 last year, aiming to embody South Korea’s country code “82” and represent it as “major.”

Through the “Rarehouse Project,” they first met K-pop fans with original songs, K-pop dances, challenges, and various content. Even before their official debut, they garnered remarkable attention on various social media platforms due to their outstanding skills. 

The members of the group are Nam Seong Mo, Park Seok Joon, Yoon Ye Chan, Cho Seoung Il, Hwang Seong Bin, and Kim Do Gyun. 

Yoon Ye Chan is the younger brother of P1Harmony's Keeho and hails from Canada and has been receiving attention even before his debut.

“Beat by 82” includes four tracks, including the main track “Choke,””Birthday,” “Illegal,” and “82.” The members all participated in the songwriting process.

“Choke” is a song imbued with 82Major’s confident and intense attitude. “Birthday” features the collaboration of star composer Ryan Jhun, who has produced numerous K-pop hits. 

“Illegal,” which received love as the performance video song released before debut, is included as a track with an even more glamorous beat. Also, “82”  is officially included in this album due to fans' enthusiastic interest and requests.
