Face-to-face classes in Pateros suspended on April 25, 26

Pateros Mayor Miguel Ponce III suspended face-to-face classes on April 25 and 26 due to soaring temperatures.

“Due to extreme hot weather which registered above 40 degrees centigrade today April 24, 2024 and which is expected to persist in the next two (2) days, face to face classes in all level both in public and private schools in the Municipality of Pateros is hereby suspended on April 25 and 26, 2024,” the mayor announced on April 24.

He added, “School Administrators/Principals are advised to adopt on-line or asynchronous system of classes/ learning during the period of suspension so not to delay class schedule.”
