Suspension of F2F classes in Pasay City extended up to Friday

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano extended the suspension of face-to-face classes (F2F) in all levels both in public and private schools up to April 25 and 26.
Rubiano said she made the decison after the PAGASA-DOST forecast that the climate heat index at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City may soar to 45 degrees Celsius on April 25 and 46 degrees Celsius on April 26.

She said that due to the forecast, all schools are advised to shift to online, modular or any alternative learning up to Friday.
The city government suspended the F2F classes in the city on April 23 and 24 due to extreme heat.
The mayor said the city experienced a heat index of 46 degrees Celsius on Wednesday at around 2:01 p.m.
