After announcing their engagement in 2020, Andi Eigenmann and her non-showbiz partner Philmar Alipayo decided to postpone their wedding this year after the death of veteran actress Jaclyn Jose.

Andi has decided to postpone it as they are still grieving over what happened.

"Honestly, we wanted to get married this year. But under these circumstances, we just decided to wait it out a bit. Para kay Nanay sana ‘yun,” she said.

Andi shared that they are slowly coping with each day after returning to Manila for Jaclyn's 40th-day commemoration after her passing away.

"Slowly, I hope I will get there. But I know she is proud, she loves me, and her grandchildren, so I will focus on the good things, and my family,” she added.

Andi mentioned that her kids are starting to understand what happened to their grandmother.

"It is touching. My two younger children, without having to explain, they understand the situation," she said.

“We always go to Manila, so they always look for ‘Nanay.’ They wondered. But now, I think they understand now. Which is weird, since they are so young,” she added.
