Walang pasok: Muntinlupa mayor suspends face-to-face classes on April 24

Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon suspended face-to-face classes in all levels in public and private schools on April 24 due to the extreme heat index forecast.

“Suspendido ang face-to-face classes bukas, April 24, 2024, sa lahat ng antas ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Muntinlupa dahil sa extreme heat index na maaari nating maranasan, base sa forecast ng PAGASA (Face-to-face classes tomorrow, April 24, 2024, are suspended in all levels in public and private schools in Muntinlupa because of the extreme heat index that we may experience based on the forecast by PAGASA),” Biazon posted on Facebook on April 23.

He said all classes will shift to asynchronous modality.

The mayor said based on the forecast by the Muntinlupa Department of Disaster Resilience and Management, the heat index may reach the danger level of 42 degrees Celsius on April 24 in Muntinlupa.
