3 revolutionary tax collectors surrender in Quezon

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Three New People’s Army revolutionary tax collectors surrendered to the police in Sariaya, Quezon, on Monday, April 22.

They were identified as aliases Papu and Berto, Papa, and Ka Abe, all from Sariaya.

They were members of the Sangay ng Partido sa Lokalidad and Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee (STRPC)-Sub-regional Military Area (SRMA 4C), Tax Implementing Unit (TIU), and Underground Mass Organizations (UGMO).

The surrenderers turned over guns and bullets and received cash and groceries as initial assistance while their applications under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Programs (ECLIP) are being processed.
