Members of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Batasan Police Station (PS 6) arrested five drug suspects and seized a total of P442,000 worth of shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City.

Police arrested Seth Peñascosa, 24, and Joana Barrios, 26, in an entrapment operation on IBP Road in Pook Pag-asa, Barangay Batasan, Quezon City at around 11:15 p.m. on April 15.
The suspects were nabbed after a concerned citizen tipped off their illegal drug peddling activity.
A police officer who acted as a poseur-buyer successfully bought P6,500 worth of shabu from them.
Confiscated from the suspects were 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000, a cellular phone, a coin purse, a motorcycle, and the buy-bust money.
Meanwhile, PS 6 operatives apprehended suspect Zaldy Timuat, 42, on Katangian St. in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City, at 5:20 p.m., on April 17.
Recovered from Timuat were 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000, a black coin purse, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.
Moreover, two drug suspects identified as Moctar Abas, 34, and Arnold Abril, 25, were arrested on April 17 and April 18, respectiveley, on IBP Road in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
Recovered from the suspects were 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
