Six people were hurt in a fire that broke out in a residential area in Marcela, Maypajo, Caloocan City on Monday, April 22.
The Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) said a 60-year-old man sustained burns on his nape and a laceration on forehead, while a 55-year-old woman suffered burns on her left arm and an 18-year-old man sustained a laceration on left hand.
Responders also attended to an 18-year-old man who got a laceration on right hand and two firefighters who experienced difficulty in breathing.
The BFP raised the first fire alarm at 12:47 p.m. and the second alarm at 1:29 p.m.
Firefighters were able to put the fire under control at 1:59 p.m.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
