P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon doesn't believe in staying friends with your former romantic partner.

An X post from Guanzon on Saturday, April 20 indicated that she doesn't like living in the past.

The only instance that keeping contact with an ex makes sense is when you two had a child together, she noted.

"Oo nga naman, bakit pa mag friends sa ex kung wala naman kayong anak (Come to think of it, why stay friends with an ex if you don't have a kid)? Past is past," she wrote.

Netizens agreed with Guanzon's take.

"Agree, Mameeeeh! Came from a break-up 6 months ago. Why do you need to be friends hahahaha," replied The Tired Law Student.

"Hanggang stalk na lang siya ganern. Being friends with the ex invites toxicity," the X user added.

On the other hand, Lady Sunce had a much more terse reply, to Guanzon, although her message was essentially the same: "korek."
