DOLE to set up 94 job fair sites on Labor Day

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will set up 94 job fair sites across the country in celebration of the 122nd Labor Day.

In an advisory, the agency's Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) said the job fairs featuring local and overseas employment opportunities will be held in almost all regions on May 1.

"DOLE is presenting a huge opportunity for all jobseekers. We will be conducting job fairs in 94 sites across the country. Come and participate in the job fair nearest you," it added.

In the National Capital Region, applicants can go to San Andres Sports Complex in Malate City, Quezon City Hall Walkway, SM City Novaliches in Quezon City, SM City Fairview in Quezon City, SM City North EDSA in Quezon City, SM City Centerpoint in Quezon City, SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, SM City Grand Central in Caloocan City, SM City in Valenzuela, Vista Mall in Taguig, Parañaque Social Hall and Sports Complex, SM Southmall in Las Piñas City, Robinsons Las Piñas, Robinsons Metro East in Pasig City, Pateros Municipal Hall Quadrangle, and Ayala South Park in Muntinlupa City.

In the Cordillera Administrative Region, the job fair sites are at the Baguio Convention Center, SM City Baguio, and DOLE Kalinga Field Office.

In Ilocos Region (Region 1), they will be held at Robinsons Ilocos in Ilocos Norte, Provincial Farmers Livelihood Development Center in Ilocos Sur, PNP Grandstand in San Fernando City, the Pangasinan Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in Lingayen, CSI Atrium in Dagupan City, and Magic Mall in Urdaneta City.

In Cagayan Valley (Region 2), the venues were at SM City Tuguegarao; Community Center in Ilagan City; Robinsons Santiago; Ammungan Hall in Nueva Vizcaya; Provincial Government Gymnasium in Quirino; while in Central Luzon (Region 3), it will be at the Gymnatorium, Tarlac City; Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT), Baler, Aurora; SM City Bataan; Mall Atrium, SM City San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan WalterMart, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija; SM City Pampanga; SM City Olongapo Central, Zambales; Bataan People's Center Provincial Compound, Balanga City, Bataan; Eduardo Cojuanco Jr. Gymnasium, Paniqui, Tarlac.

In Calabarzon (Region 4A), the event will be at Robinsons Place General Trias in Cavite, Lopez Municipal Covered Court in Quezon, Batangas City Sports, Robinsons Place Antipolo in Rizal, and Santa Rosa Integrated Terminal (SRIT), SM City Sta. Rosa, Laguna, while MIMAROPA (Region 4B) job fairs were at the Municipal Gymnasium in Oriental Mindoro and SM City Puerto Princesa in Palawan.

In the Bicol region (Region 5), it will be at Ayala Malls in Albay, SM City Daet in Camarines Norte, Robinsons Place Naga in Camarines Sur, Virac Town Center in Catanduanes, Capitol Grounds in Masbate City, and Provincial Capitol Gymnasium in Sorsogon City.

In Western Visayas (Region 6), the sites are at Robinsons Place Antique in Antique, Robinsons Place in Iloilo City, SM City Bacolod, Northwestern Visayan Colleges Gymnasium,Capitol Site, Kalibo, Aklan, Robinsons Place in Roxas City, and Buenavista Gymnasium in Guimaras; while in Central Visayas (Region 7) are the Sports Complex in Mandaue City, City Wing Atrium, SM Seaside City Cebu, Lamberto Macias Sports Complex in Dumaguete City; while in Eastern Visayas (Region 8) are the Provincial Capitol Gym Province of Eastern Samar, Catarman Freedom Park Covered Court, Province of Northern Samar, Convention Center in Tacloban City, Super Dome in Ormoc City, Municipal Covered Court in Samar, Eastern Samar State University-Borongan Campus, Maasin City Gym in Southern Leyte, and Biliran Provincial Legislative Building.

The Mega Gymnasium, Dao, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur Zamboanga del Norte Convention Center, Dipolog City Atrium, Capitol Building, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, KCC Mall in Zamboanga city, and Basilan National High School Auditorium are the job fair locations in Zamboanga Peninsula (Region 9), while in Northern Mindanao (Region 10), they are at the Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay City, People's Gymnasium in Tangub City, Covered Court Oroquieta City Central Elementary School Event Hall in Cagayan de Oro City, Gaisano Tubod, Lanao del Norte, and St. Michael's College in Iligan City. In Davao Region (Region 11), the site is at SM City Davao, Gaisano Grand Mall Digos in Davao Del Sur, and Gaisano Mall Tagum in Davao del Norte.

In Soccsksargen (Region 12), DOLE said the job fair locations are at the Poblacion Alabel in Sarangani Province (Dropbox Job Fair), Convention and Events Center, KCC Mall of Gensan, Provincial Gymnasium in Kidapawan City, Convention Center in Koronadal City, and City Government of Tacurong Gymnasium, Sultan Kudarat (Drop Box Job Fair); Almont Hotel Inland Resort in Butuan City, Provincial Capitol in Dinagat Islands, City Hall in Tandag City, City Hall in Surigao City, and Provincial Capitol in Agusan del Sur, all in Caraga (Region 13).
