PAGASA said a heat index of 44°C may be felt in Dagupan City, Pangasinan; Aborlan, Palawan; and Catarman, Northern Samar.

PAGASA also said a heat index of 43°C may be expected in Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) station in Pili, Camarines Sur; Roxas City, Capiz; Dumangas, Iloilo; Guiuan, Eastern Samar; Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur; and Cotabato City, Maguindanao.

Meanwhile, Bacnotan, La Union; Aparri, Cagayan; Tuguegarao City, Cagayan; Iba, Zambales; Ambulong, Tanauan, Batangas; Coron, Palawan; Puerto Princesa City, Palawan; Virac, Catanduanes; Iloilo City, Iloilo; and Davao City, Davao del Sur may have a dangerous heat index of 42°C.

PAGASA advised the public to avoid soda, tea, and coffee, and to drink plenty of water, as heat indices ranging from 42-51°C may lead to heat stroke due to continued exposure to heat.

It also warned the public to limit time spent outdoors, particularly from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and to do heavy-duty activities in the afternoon when the temperature gets lower.
