Jetour Auto hopes to further raise the buying public’s standards when it comes to SUVs. The brand recently unveiled two new models that hope to further raise the bar, whether it comes to fuel efficiency or off-road capability.
Travel 1,000 km on a single tank
The first of which is the Dashing Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). The SUV pairs the style and luxury of its already popular Dashing SUV and takes it a step further with the addition of an efficient hybrid propulsion system.
The Dashing PHEV derives its power from two propulsion systems: a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with the 3DHT automatic transmission, and the electric motor powered by a Ternary lithium battery. It’s governed by an i-DM Intelligent Drive System. This allows the powertrain to produce total torque of 545-Nm and accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just seven seconds. Because of its hybrid system, it also has a pure electric drive range of up to 100-km.
The Dashing PHEV is now available in the country for just P1,950,000. The Dashing PHEV is a limited edition, good only for the first 10 customers.
A truly rugged SUV
The second vehicle unveiled is the T2. Designed to conquer any terrain, the T2 features truly rugged design and the underpinnings to conquer the toughest conditions.
The T2 combines the aesthetics of ruggedness and the functionality of high-technology. The exterior touches give the T2 the ideal physique of an SUV that's ready to play, and play hard, in any urban and outdoor setting.
The T2 is powered by a 2.0-liter Kunpeng Turbo Gas Direct (Injection) TGDI powered engine mated to a Magna 7DCT third-generation wet dual-clutch transmission with intelligent execution system, which generates up to 251-horsepower and up to 390-Nm of torque. Managing the four-wheel-drive system is the Smart XWD Intelligent 4WD.
Inside the T2 comes with an intelligent cockpit layout governed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset, and a large 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster and an even larger 15.6-inch central control large screen.
In terms of safety, the JETOUR T2 is fully loaded. The chassis comes standard with metal underbody shields for stronger protection. The eight-point full-frame front subframe has better overall integrity. Overall, the design safety factor of linkage-type parts has been ramped up by more than 20%. The exclusive off-road, high-performance tires deliver superior dry and wet traction, ensuring tire safety and control. These safety design qualities, combined with the Bosch 5+3 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) uses Fifth Generation radars/sensors and Third Generation cameras that enhances the detection of objects within its surroundings. The radars can detect up to 210 meters and cameras have a field of view of around 150 meters for vehicle detection and 70 meters for pedestrian detection that goes with more than 17 Intelligent Assisted Driving functions, such as the Adaptive Cruise Control, (AEB) Active Emergency Braking / Front Collision Warning , Around View Monitoring, Blind Spot Detection / (LCA) Lane Change Assist, Door Open Warning, (HDC) Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Parking Radar System, Paddle Shifter, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Collision Warning, Speed Limit Assist, (TPMS) Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Traffic Jam Assist, and the Wade Sensing System.
The T2 is now available in two variants, the T2 Beyond and the T2 Terrain. The T2 Beyond base model has an SRP of just P2,498,000, while the T2 Terrain, which has additional kits and fittings for the more adventurous owners, goes for P2,598,000.

The launch was attended by JAPI executives and officers, led by its President Yves Licup, Managing Director Miguelito Jose, Marketing Director Cherry May De Los Santos, Aftersales Director Eryx Julian Guiang, and Sales Manager Julie Ann Sevilla. JETOUR Auto International Director of Asia and Pacific Region Caroline Ling was also present.
The Dashing PHEV, and T2 4x4 SUV are now on display at any of Jetour’s 23 dealers across the country.
