Drunk neighbor stabs housewife dead

SAN ANDRES, Quezon – A housewife was stabbed dead and her daughter was injured by a drunken neighbor in Barangay Tala here on April 1.

Police identified the fatality as Leonor Absalon, 56.

The suspect, Garry, 36, arrived at the victim’s house and suddenly stabbed Leonor. Her daughter, Rosalie, 34, came to help her mother but she was also stabbed by the suspect.

Leonor died while receiving treatment at the San Andres Municipal Health Center.

Garry fled on foot and is believed to be hiding in the mountains of San Narciso, Quezon.

The suspect, who was wearing an orange T-shirt and camouflage shorts, faces charges of murder and frustrated murder.
