Angeles City gov't cancels classes on April 3 due to extreme heat
ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – The city government has suspended classes on levels here and allowed alternative modes of instruction on Wednesday, April 3, due to extreme heat.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. presided over a meeting on Tuesday, April 2, to set the parameters for suspension of classes.
The meeting was attended by Lazatin’s chief adviser IC Calaguas, City Health Officer Dr. Verona Guevarra, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Division of City Schools Superintendent Dr. Edgardo Domingo, and Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management officer-in-charge Rodolfo Simeon.
Lazatin noted that it is important to prioritize the health and safety of children amid the extreme heat.
