CEBU CITY – Suspected shabu worth more than P2 million was seized from a 47-year-old drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Panglao town, Bohol province on Wednesday, April 17.

THE municipality of Panglao in Bohol is located in the southwestern part of the island.
Police said the suspect, who was cornered in Purok 6, Barangay Poblacion with 325 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P2.2 million, was considered a big-time drug pusher who had been operating in Tagbilaran City.
Police Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin, chief of the Police Regional Office-Central Visayas, commended Panglao police for the successful arrest of the suspect.
“This success demonstrates the diligence and collaborative spirit of our personnel in the fight against illegal drugs. The positive results of our efforts underscore the importance of maintaining a drug-free community where everyone can live in peace and safety,” Aberin said.
Police are conducting further investigation to identify the suspect’s possible cohorts and his source of illegal drugs.
