The mystery behind these artworks was finally unraveled during "!Kalikasan, Kabataan, Kagitingan," a vibrant youth music festival held at the Montalban Sports Complex in Rizal recently.

Presented by the SAVE ME Movement (Students #Actions Vital to the Environment and Mother Earth Movement), the event honored this year’s Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor), infusing it with deep national significance.
The 'Kami Naman' murals, as unveiled, are not just artistic expressions but powerful statements. They articulate the collective frustration of Filipinos with the ongoing instability and disputes that hinder the nation's progress.

In the midst of pressing issues and current tensions in the government, these murals stand as a beacon of hope, expressing a longing for unity and advancement, and challenging the prevailing narrative of division and stagnation.
“Kami Naman,” translating to “What about us?” refers to the people's yearning for a governance that prioritizes their welfare, actively responds to their needs, and steers the country toward peace and stability. This message resonates strongly in the hearts of many advocating for a future where the interests of the Filipino people are genuinely championed, free from the barriers of power plays and personal agenda.

It was a vibrant display of Filipino talent and passion.
The concert, hosted by CJ Villavicencio, showcased the SAVE ME Movement# 's commitment to empowering the youth and inspiring a new generation of leaders. This aligned with the principles of the “Kami Naman” initiative, highlighting the critical role of the youth in shaping the nation’s future.

By calling for unity and amplifying the Filipino voice, this collective effort urges the nation to reflect on its values and strive towards a harmonious future for all its citizens.
As the “Kami Naman” murals continue to spark discussions and reflections nationwide, they remind us of the importance of prioritizing the common good over individual interests, especially for the sake of future generations.
