BADOC, Ilocos Norte – A man was shot dead in Barangay Caraitan here on Friday afternoon, April 19.
Police Capt. Elison Pasamonte, town chief of police, said the victim, Emmanuel Salcedo of Barangay Cabangtalan, Sinait, Ilocos Sur, was on his way home on a motorcycle after visiting his relative in Barangay Lubigan here when he shot by a lone gunman at about 2 p.m.
The suspect fled and police took the victim to the hospital where he died.
Police are conducting follow-up and pursuit operations.
