K-pop idol, actor Cha Eun-woo pays tribute to late Moonbin: ‘I miss you’


K-pop idol and actor Cha Eun-woo paid tribute to the late singer Moonbin, his friend and fellow member in boy band ASTRO. 

Fans and ASTRO members commemorated the first death anniversary of Moonbin on April 19.

Cha Eun-wo uploaded a link to Jinjin's "Fly" song on April 19 and tagged Moonbin and Jinjin's Instagram accounts and wrote "I miss you and love you so much" (Screenshot from Cha Eun-woo's Instagram Stories)

Moonbin passed away on April 19, 2023 at 25.  According to the Seoul Gangnam Police Station, Moonbin was found dead at his home in Gangnam, Seoul at about 8:10 p,m. by his manager who reported it to the police. 

As a tribute to Moonbin, ASTRO’s Jinjin released the song “Fly (Duet with. Moonbin (ASTRO)),” which features Moonbin. 

“Fly” is a song written and composed by Jinjin himself. The song was released on Moonbin’s first death anniversary as a gift to fans who missed him. 

Cha Eun-woo posted a link to the song on his Instagram Stories and tagged Moonbin and Jinjin’s Instagram accounts. 

"I miss you and I love you so much,” he wrote about Moonbin. 

To honor Moonbin on his birthday last Jan. 26, Cha Eun-woo uploaded a cover of American DJ duo Slander’s “Love is Gone” on his YouTube channel.
