PAGASA said a heat index of 45°C was felt in Roxas City, Capiz, followed by a heat index of 44°C in Aborlan, Palawan.
It also recorded a heat index of 43°C in Dagupan City, Pangasinan; Sangley Point, Cavite; Ambulong, Tanauan, Batangas; Central Bicol State University (CBSUA) station in Pili, Camarines Sur; and Dumangas, Iloilo.
A heat index of 42°C was also felt in Bacnotan, La Union; Clark Airport station in Pampanga; Iba, Zambales; Puerto Princesa City, Palawan; and Iloilo City, Iloilo.
Dangerous heat indices range from 42-51°C, which pose risks of heat stroke due to prolonged exposure to heat, said PAGASA.
